We did nto know any of the restaurants in Mertola, so we waited to see where the portugese went, and we followed them. At one o'clock the restaurant was more or less packed. We had wild boar stew and lampreia with rice (jawless eel from the Guadiana).Good house wine. Several cooked dishes, not only the grilled ones; lamb stew, rabbit stew, cozida etc. We will return!
