“Magnificient Seafood!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

If you are out in Seapoint please make it your business to eat here as the food is fantastic, especially the seafood, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the views from the dining room or outdoor eating area are brilliant! Having the sunshine was the icing on the cake. You will not be disappointed!

“excellent dinner”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

Three of us had dinner here in May, 2013. Staff very friendly, excellent menu selection and seafood was outstanding. Each of us judged our 3 different entrees to be excellent. Place was busy and would recommend reservations. Would definitely return.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

What a find! Small, quaint restaurant on the water near Galway and very near our hotel , Glenloe Abbey. Mostly frequented by locals, very few tourists. All of the food was excellent but the mussels were some of the best I've ever had! We were going to have dinner somewhere else but it was closed so we ended up here - so glad!

“Each mouthful was superb”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Had lunch here on a dreary day in June, and it brought a ray of sunshine into our day! Freshest and tastiest fish in the land--I had a two inch thick piece of sautéed cod over puréed butternut squash, with chanterelle mushrooms and broad beans, all of which was delicious from start to finish. My husband had tagliatelle with mussels, cockels, and prawns, also outstanding. A deceptive modest exterior belies a chef operating a true gem of a restaurant, doing seafood the way it should be done. A destination restaurant, truly.
