“Nice boutique hotel experience in Ibiza”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

My wife and I just missed the closing parties in Ibiza, and decided to stay at Ocean Drive. Very nice botique hotel. Its walking distance to a great little beach and a 10-15 minute pleasant walk to Ibiza town. Only reason I didn't give it excellent is because the Internet was so spotty it drove us crazy! Great buffet for breakfast as well as modern and well designed rooms. Shower was great, and the lack of a tub did not bother us.

Room Tip: Try and go as high as you can for the best view possible. We were on the second and couldn't see...

The hotel is located in the marina area about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the city of Ibiza. The hotel itself is quite small, with just four floors, but compared to other hotels in Ibiza it seemed like a much more modern option. The location was good in terms of sleep quality and restaurants. There was not much noise from the street at night and the restaurants nearby were all excellent (although quite expensive by Spanish standards). I would stay here again if I had to visit Eivissa, but to be honest if you are looking to stay in a nice part of the island I would check out the eastern area, for example Santa Eulária des Riu.

I would think that the experience I am about to share may be somewhat different to the experience that u might get during season.
In November this hotel is one of the few hotels that are actually are still open as most hotels are closed for the winter.
The hotel is not a big one. 4 floors. I wouldn't call it boutique....that would probably be a bit of an exaggeration but in any case its an enjoyable hotel. I got a room with a view to the port. If you are overlooking the backside of the hotel that might not be so nice. And YES getting a room overlooking the port is extra money.
Internet is free and fast.
Breakfast was VERY GOOD. Its the kind of quality you would not expect to have in a hotel like this. I loved it.
The hotel staff are super friendly.
If you book the suits then you get a Smart car for the duration of the stay. The normal rooms are small so if you arrive with 2 big suitcases you will find the hard to handle :)
The port side rooms are a bit noisy as all the trucks arriving to the island by sea will pass just in front of the building.
Location is still good with a few minutes walk from Pacha and a 12-15 minutes walk from the city.

We stayed here for one night before heading to Formentera. The rooms were small but clean and we had a lovely view of the old town and harbour. The location is good if you want to be away from it all and the staff were very helpful. It is however very expensive for what you get.

Well-located away from the noise of Ibiza town, but close enough to walk to it. Across the street from the marina and many close options for good food nearby. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, where there are several restaurants with great sea views! We were lucky enough to get a sea view and a small, but very clean and updated room. I've travelled quite a bit and couldn't find any fault with the rooms. We arrived after our first day out to a bottle of champagne too!

The staff were all very professional and helpful, from the cleaners to the front desk staff. Very welcoming atmosphere, and also a relaxing place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. We rented one of the smart cars that the hotel owns to explore the island, and had a great time visiting all the unspoiled beaches. Cost was 30 euros per day - very reasonable!

I would go back here in a heartbeat. The only thing some people might miss is a swimming pool, but with the Mediterranean only steps away, it shouldn't be a factor for most.

This hotel has a great location right on the harbor's edge. From here you can look out over breaktaking view of the old town staring down.

The staff was charming.

The room was a bit small, but it had everything i needed. The shower was great with plenty of hot water.

The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Highly recommended.

Stayed at Ocean Drive late September and can only thank the staff for a wonderful stay.

The Hotel itself is in a great location ,close to Talamanca Beach and 5 mins from Ibiza Town by Boat or Taxi. The décor is contemporary yet warm. We stayed in the Dalt Villa Suite which had perfect vistas of Ibiza Town and of course Dalt Villa. The room was perfect, well furnished with a huge bathroom and dressing room.

The breakfast was great and all the staff, Maria, Eva and Jolanda were extremely friendly and hospitable, in fact they were brilliant and the whole place had more of a family run hotel with all the service you'd expect from a 4/5 star hotel.

I cannot recommend this place enough and whilst I loved my stay at Pacha the previous year I must say Ocean Drive surpassed all my expectations and I would definitely stay here next time and would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.

Great job guys......

Abbas
