My companion said "I'm not eating in there". Admittedly, from the front it is a narrow, dark dive, and the name is hardly alluring to anglophone ears, but if you walk in past the bar it opens out to the rear to a large room, and beyond that is a large courtyard, half of which is roofed over.
Very good value and delicious Menu del Dia, and we were there at the fag-end of the season, so when the tables started filling up with locals at about 2.00 we were confirmed that this place is more substance than style.
worth stopping here for lunch if you're taking a bus trip between Mahon & Ciudadella, it's about half-way and the town has some charming little shops that are less touristy than the two big towns.
