I had found 1 review of this Auberge (Inn) on Tripadvisor and after viewing the website and a couple of nearby hotels, my wife and I decided to go for it. We were not disappointed. Not so much an Inn, no bar and fixed meal times, but more of a "gite". The farm is at the end of a long winding climb through the countryside near Compeyre and Millau and has lovely views out across the hills. The rooms are in a separate block and we were in a ground floor room with a lovely curved ceiling above us. The bed was comfortable enough and we slept well.
The meal was amazing - everything that can be produced on the farm is - meat, poultry, vegetables, salad. We had a 5 course meal which was fresh, tasty and so filling. All washed down with a lovely local wine. Breakfast was simple but very tasty with lots of home-made jams to go with the crusty bread and butter.
It's only 15 minutes or so off the A75 motorway and 10 minutes north of the now famous Viaduc de Millau which is truly a wonder to see and to drive over.
Well worth the detour but book early - it was full the night we were there.
