Such a lovely child friendly beach, everything you need, toilets, fish and chips, ice cream, but best of all is the golden sands and the long prom to walk along. Play area up on the cliff with plenty of space for parking and picnic.

This really is a lovely beach, plenty of space and very clean and tidy. The kids love it here. Plenty of food outlets close by.

Gorleston would be, on a hot day, no different to being 2000 miles further south! The beach is clean, sandy, has lifeguards, a paddling pool away from the sea for children and has a small area of tea rooms. Its a fantastic beach for kites. It lacks amusements arcades and tacky shops - wonderful! Parking is free around the area.

We had forgotten how lovely this beach is, clean and soft sand, shame we could not guarantee the sun or else you would not have to go abroad.

This beach is well looked after. We walked here from Hopton on Sea and its well worth the visit. Great sandy beach with plenty of space. Although closed, perhaps too early in season May 2013, there is a little paddling pool that was being cleaned out as we were passing and a pleasant looking boating lake. This beach is what I envisage when thinking of an English holiday. We will return in warmer weather to allow our daughter more fun in the sand
