We booked this stay through STA travel.
The place was quite hard to find when you are coming from the airport. Make sure you print off the directions that they provide on the hostels web site. We had a great stay the room was cosy and the people were friendly, all in all a great week in Tokyo.

This is a funky little place hidden away in a suburb of Tokyo but still with great access to the City and all major attractions. The nearest Underground is about 10 mins walk but it's worth staying here just to get an insight into real Tokyo life. The staff are friendly and there are two computers in the reception for free internet access. There are about 5 floors and the room we stayed in had a balcony overlooking the Tokyo skyline - SUPER cool! The beds were comfy and the room was kitted out like any basic hostel. Show your ISIC card to reception when you arrive and you get a late check-out on your final day - perfect if you want to explore the city some more without carrying your suitcase around everywhere!
The areais also pretty safe. I returned to the hostel everynight for about 10pm without major stress.
Recommend stopping in a Travel Centre (Follow the Green Sign)at Ueno Station to pick up an all day travel card for the Underground and JR Lines. Buy one of these for each day of your stay when you arrive and it saves you the hassle of trying to get a ticket in the sometimes confusing ticket machines! ALSO buy a ticket for your return journey to the airport here and it saves any lostintranslation moments hours before your flight is due to takeoff and you're stuck onthe wrong carriage of the wrong train with a mastercard and no ticket and no cash to pay the conductor!! (Cash is v important to have ready as cards are not widely accepted..)
All in all, a great hostel in a great location for agreat stay in Tokyo. Top marks! Will DEF be back!

We`ve just spent 2 nights at this hostal.
It`s easy to reach from Narita airport. When you book they provide good directions which in Tokyo is very useful.

We stayed in one of the double rooms- they do also offer dorms. The room was small but had air con and a TV and video. Everything is very clean. English was spoken at the reception at all times.

There is a communal area to relax and meet fellow travellers with a notice board to keep you posted of any local events

The area felt safe and the hotel is only 7 minutes walk from the subway.

A much more personal experience than staying in a large chain hotel
