This temple is easy to get to and costs nothing when you get there!

There are many temples on site but the largest of them is quite a sight! The gardens are lovely too and I came in the winter!!!

Around the temple there are LOTS of things to buy and I felt you could look at your leisure without pressure to buy!

Go and soak the atmosphere in!

The open market is very large and stocked with tons of colourful, locally-made gift items. Also some very interesting items to look at such as wigs that are worn with kimono, face masks etc.

I loved Asakusa, it's a quiet neighbourhood. The most I liked to wander at dusk. The Taito Kannon Temple at night is a lovely as in the day light. Near the temple there are some small streets where I spotted some good kaiten-sushi. There's a street full of shops settin homewares, and I regret I didn't buy a couple of Japanese kitchen kinves there. so, I'd better come back there one more!
