“The best!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

Seriously, just go! My wife and I went on a cold Feb morning and had the best time. We have been blessed with being able to travel all around the world and visited all type of zoos and aquariums. But never before had we seen a polar bear! And pandas actually awake and running, yes you read correct, running around!

We had drinks at the cafe and also lunch, prices were cheap and food reasonable in quality.

Don't bother taking the monorail between the east and west part of the zoo, it's a 5 mins walk across a bridge.

It was funny seeing my local birds as an exhibit in a zoo (cockatoos) but otherwise many different animals. It's sad they don't have more room for the animals. I know they had room to move but many were running around in circles so I don't think it was enough.

“Nice zoo and worth visiting!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

The zoo entrance fee is very affordable and yet also contribute to 'save' the panda too. Worth visiting as we can see lots of birds species and including panda and poala bear too.

“Happy animals!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

seemed like most animals had a lot of space, which is the main thing I look for in zoos.

I went at the end of the day which was feeding time, which I suggest because the animals are more active and you get better pictures.

“Oldest Zoo in Japan: Cute Pandas Cheap entrance price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Since Ueno zoo is so popular, I've decided to visit it. Entrance fee is surprisingly cheap 600yen for adults. The zoo is not so big, but it has quite a lot of variety of animals, most famous for its two pandas and there's also the white nagano monkeys. Its a fun place to take for kids, since it's so close to the city, and cheap. The best "zoo" I've been so far is still Safari Park in Indonesia, where you get to drive your own car inside the hugeeee park and touch the animals!
