“Nice park if you are in the area.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

Lovely park around Cherry Blossom time, Nice to walk around.. It's great it's near the zoo, and asakusa Temple, and all the musiums and cheap shops. I don't know why though, I prefer Yoyogi. Perhaps it's the homeless that are in the area, and the fact Ueno is kind of a cheap area in general. Still there is a lot to do in the area,

“Interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013 via mobile

My friend and I walked here because we were told there was good shopping at Ueno station. The park is nice, and clean. There are several museums and art galleries in the area along with a zoo. Great place for kids to run around, or to experience a little bit of outdoors and culture.

“Wander round here on a sunny Sunday afternoon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2013

There's always something to look at on a nice Sunday in Ueno Park. Teenage boys showing off on skateboards, teen girls showing the latest in fashion (er, yes, girls, very nice). Older ladies and gentlemen doing their exercises. Just DON'T visit the zoo

“Nice city escape”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

This park is very big, with a lot of place, but it's crowded as well. We were there during the cherryblossom, so it was really amazing to see it there. There is a lake that have a nice view and bunch of small shops selling good smelling food.
They have places for picnik, small places you can buy a food there and eat next to it on nice tables.
There is Ueno zoo inside the park and it' sbasically made of 2 parks which are connected by a pathwalk between them.
They have a big variety of animals and nice walking paths.

“Delightful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2013

A green lung with pleasant walks. Delightful in spring and cherry blossom. Has a couple of good restaurants situated inside the park. Not worth a special trip but if nearby (as in our case) a pleasant stroll to get away from the hectic pace of the city.
