We were a group of 3 and had a large triple room with 3 separate beds, fairly rare in Tokyo. We loved Asakusa. It was easy to get to by direct train from Narita. It had a local feel and we enjoyed the covered shopping arcades and the temple area. We ate in Sushi Zanmai on our first night as it is just opposite.
The room was luxurious for the price. There was a generously sized bathroom with a tub and a shower. A Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge were useful for breakfast in our room with provisions from the supermarket downstairs.
At night, the views from the terrace were stunning, though order simple drinks and do not expect hand-crafted cocktails.
On a Tuesday, the restaurants seemed to be mostly closed at 8pm in this area. We ended up in a branch of Tenya tempura opposite the hotel and along the street.
I would certainly stay again in this hotel as it was very comfortable and very well located.More
