The hotel is brand new, nice place, nice staff. The price is good. If I come Tokyo again, I will live this hotel again, it is good choice.

I found this hotel to be very clean and had great service. It was very reasonably priced and is located near station for convenience. I would definately recommend particularly for the traveler wanting to visit sites within Tokyo as it is located in the heart of the tourist district.

My husband and I stayed at the Richmond Hotel Asakusa last month for four nights. We loved it. The room was tiny but we didn't spent much time there so was not an issue for us. Stylishly decorated, clean and new, great shower, awesome view of the new Sky Tree Tower. The buffet breakfast was sensational. Desk clerks were helpful and usually knew some English. Right by the Sensoji temple. Asakusa is really pretty at night. Relatively quiet and calm area but still very well located.

Stayed her for 2 nights, while i was in tokyo. literally a stone throw away from sensoji, alot of food options in the area too. the pictures do justice to the hotel, hence i am not going to upload my sucky pictures. there are 2 sides with different views, apparently one side you will be able to see the sensoji and tokyo sky tree, the other side, just the street.

nearest train line is the tsubaka line, which can get you to akihabara in 4 minutes. very accessible.

website as attached http://richmondhotel.jp/en/asakusa/

Room Tip: if you like to see the sensoji at night all lit up, make sure to book a room facing the correct side.

- Near Sensoji(Asakusa Temple)
- Easy to walk to 2 subway lines (tsukuba line / GinZa line)
- Easy to walk to see Asakusa at night (very beautiful)
- many shop near the hotel like restaurant/convenience store and food (Maguro Bito (Sushi chain) : the number one be voted by Tokyo people)
- Near Koban(police sta.)
- Esp...it's a new hotel just opened on last March (2012)
...etc.
