“So friendly”

Great private room, as far as hostels go. The staff is so kind and helpful. They cooked us a homemade Japanese breakfast, just because they are nice. Location is not central, but near lots of nice stuff.

This lovely niche place is easy to find. If taking the Metro train line, alight at Asakusa Station (last station). Take Exit 1 (the famous Kaminarimon) by climbing a flight of stairs. After exiting the ticket-gate, walk left to take 2 flights of stairs or the elevator. At top of stairs or elevator, head/walk straight (along main road) for about 5mins to reach the Kaminarimon gate. Continue ahead for about 2mins. Stop at the JTB red signboard (above on wall) or upon reaching a side-road on your right. Turn right into the side-road and walk about 15sec. On your left, there is an alley. Turn left into the alley and Khaosan Kabuki is there.
Just need to bring your own towel and toothbrush/paste as shampoo/conditioner and soap/gel is provided. The 2 white sheets provided for the bed was neatly pressed and smelt sunshine-fresh. The basin/showroom was mold-less. The staff spoke good English and are extremely friendly.
I will stay here again.

We have stayed here the past 4 days and can't fault the accomodation. Very clean, friendly staff who speak English well and always happy to help out. Asakusa is a good location close to the metro and other sites. Nice and chilled out location which is a nice reprieve after day and night adventuring. Will come here again!

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and it was nice and quiet. Room adequate for what it is. We had a 4 bed...

Khosan Tokyo kabuki is definitely a must stay plae if you're on a tight budget and need a place that is well placed. However, what makes this place different from any other hostel I've been is the friendliness of the staff, thy make you feel welcomed, people might say it's common Japanese courtesy, but they transmit genuine warmth! Not to mention their efficiency and helpfullness, they show concern and are eager to help! The rooms are also very clean.
All in all, I would definitely stay here again and recommend this
place.

This hostel is a guarantee for anything such a facility should offer: helpful and friendly staff, good accommodation and excellent position, for a good bargain. Staff are extraordinary helpful and that makes visit the town much simpler. Without their suggestions we would not have been able to attend a Sumo match (highlight of our stay in Tokyo) and a traditional celebration. The room, as in the picture attached, was big and comfortable. The position is extremely good, as it is in the middle of Asakusa, near the Senso-Ji temple, where it is wonderful to pass by at different times of the day. Price is unbeatable. The stairs, elevator and common spaces are a little bit long-lived but that remains a detail.

I shared a room with 4 other guests but it seemed like I had the room all to myself. This place has the most comfortable bed I've been at in a hostel setting, very well located (near Senso-ji Temple, lots of eating places, the Ginza line), the bathrooms have free soap and shampoo (no need to take out your own), the staff was tremendously helpful, and the WIFI was great. I can't think of anything bad about this place. I wanted to stay here again towards the end of my trip but they were fully booked. So...make sure you lock in your reservation!

This is a great place, run very well by the ladies, very well organized and with a much more than understandable level of English. The common area is well equipped, we had a double room which had the best price/value relation of all our rooms. Washing and drying possibility as well. Location is great if you are focused on the Eastern stuff in Tokyio. We would always return, thanks Kana!

Room Tip: The room on the forth floor, if you travel as a couple, is first choice.
