This is a great place, run very well by the ladies, very well organized and with a much more than understandable level of English. The common area is well equipped, we had a double room which had the best price/value relation of all our rooms. Washing and drying possibility as well. Location is great if you are focused on the Eastern stuff in Tokyio. We would always return, thanks Kana!

Room Tip: The room on the forth floor, if you travel as a couple, is first choice.

The hostel was near to a train station and the room was clean and cozy. Everything was great except for one attendant who was not so great in attending its guest. Hope next time it'll be good. Ill be back to this hostel because of the location and room. I love their mamati mat!

stayed here for a few days with a buddy of mine, overall was very nice location, rooms were fine, each had private shower, and toilet, two bunk beds in the room, a locker for valuables in the room, also had computers, a tv, dining area, some cooking applicanes downstairs.

rooms were comfortable and well looked after, cleaned everyday, staff are friendly, and helpful, willing to help you out, give you directions, suggesting resturants etc.

overall very happy with stay, and for the price cannot complain!

Khaosan Kabuki is located strategically in the heart of Asakusa within walking distance from JR & Ginza Metro subway which provide convenient access to everywhere within Tokyo. The staff is friendly, helpful & resourceful to extend assistance to their guest. The room is clean, comfy & provides everything you can ask for a budget stay. Famous spot like Sensoji Temple, Nakamise shopping street, Kaminari Gate, Sumida Park/River & etc. It was surrounded with eateries; convenient store, drug store, temple & interesting shop in the old Japan feel in certain parks of Asakusa. We will definitely stay here again in our next visit to Tokyo.

Well, when I first arrived in Tokyo - this is the very first place we stayed in. The staff are nice and helpful and the place is so clean that I loved it! The only thing missing is privacy in the room - we can basically see what our roommate is doing; but it's fine once you get used it it.

This hostel is well worth the money. It's clean, tidy and has a great lounge and eating area with everything you need. We had two adults and two children and found it very safe and in comparing to Japanese standard size rooms we had enough room to move. The staff couldn't be more helpful and all speak English well, which can be a help on Tokyo if you don't speak Japanese. They have heaps of information on where to go and easy instructions of how to get there. Their website outlines how to get there from the subway which was also very helpful since we flew in very late at night. It is about 1 hr from Narita airport. There is a 7-11, Starbucks, a super market and heaps of local cafes all within a minutes walk.
