As others have said this is so close to the JR station which in turn provides easy access to Tokyo station for shinkansen, Narita Express and a trip to Tokyo Disneyland. The staff were happy to accept our luggage first thing in the morning and we returned to check in officially about 10pm. I would happily stay here again as we only needed somewhere to sleep and shower so a small room was of little consequence and still had all the usual conveniences. The man in Lawsons was also very helpful in showing us how to buy tickets for the Ghibli Museum on an ATM style machine which had no English as far as I could see.

Room Tip: We had room 1406 on the 14th floor

Stayed here for the second time this year, its really close to the station about 30 secs and very easy to get to Akihibara and Tokyo station quickly.

There is a Lawson on site for quick snacks but i prefer the Life supermarket which is about 10 minutes walk (a lot better for value for money when buying food and groceries and the bento's are not half bad either).

Also there is a 24hr butchers about a minutes walk where food is cheaper the Lawson.

Rooms are tiny but clean and the showers are hot and powerful. Sometimes the bathroom does smell even if you haven't used it i suspect the odour from the sewer or something is rising up somehow or other.

Note they dont provide cleaning to single rooms which are booked on a special offer i.e. for two weeks you get two cleaning sessions - which i think is not enough.

Overall very happy with the service and price.

This hotel is a bargain for what you're getting in Tokyo.

To start the location is a 1 minute walk from the JR Asakusabashi station and 4 mins from the Asakusabasha Metro Station which links directly to Narita Airport on the Kesei Skyliner for Y1,060.

The rooms are small but clean with all requirements eg. Shampoo, soap, tea, kettle, ironing board, air purifier etc.

It is also connected to a Lawson convienience store and opposite a 24hr supermarket.

There are lots of restaurants in the area although I couldn't find one with an English Menu.

Finally the staff are really helpful and friendly. Would definately stay again. Thanks!

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We got off the Tokyo Metro station and it took us a while to find the hotel the first time. We asked the lady at a newspaper stand for direction and then asked another gentleman again for direction, he is very helpful and walked us to the hotel. It is actually located 1 min walk from JR station and about 4 mins walk from Tokyo Metro station. The hotel room is one of smallest hotel rooms I have been, but well this is Tokyo. Anyway, the hotel is fully equipped (eg, shampoo and conditioner, even facial cleanser, mosturizer, toner, tooth brush and tooth paste, water boiler, etc).

Staff were outstanding from the beginning - friendly, organised and very good English. We left our bags at reception at lunch time and they were waiting in our room when we returned!

Very handy to the sumo (1 train stop), Akihabara (1 stop) and most other tourist parts of Tokyo a train change and 4-5 stops away.

Room was clean, modern and well-equipped, if a little small.

This hotel was great value for money. Highly recommended.

Stayed at this hotel again. It's located at the good location - Asakusa-bashi station - one stop to Akihabara, or 5min to Ueno, Asakusa.
The new landmark in Tokyo is the 'SkyTree', which is only around 4 stops (subway) from hotel. and it's so convenient.

If you have long stay, you can select the package iwth mini kitchen. hotel offers free amenities that you can select and pick at the lobby floor.

Price is really good!

To get there, simply take the train from Narita or Haneda airport. or if you take skyliner to Ueno, you can change train to get there or by taxi from Ueno station, it's around JPY1200 only.

Incredible staff! They were so helpful so friendly. Room was great in any sense, the only thing is lack of wireless lan in, you need to go to lobby or plug your laptop in the room. I think I won t make any research hotel for my next stay in Tokyo, Mystays would be my permanant hotel..
