“A great end to our holiday”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Following the recommendation of one of our guides, as we were staying in the area for our last night in Japan, we found our way to this restaurant with some help from a local resident. In the dark - it was very difficult to see anything! Having been told at the entrance - it was cash only - we were urshered into the main dining room.

There was a choice of two table d'hote menus with some courses based on chicken. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner - we found the meal a little big for us - but we ate all until towards the end when we sampled everything. The lady who cooked the main course was able to explain most of the ingredients used to & we had a lovely evening. Well recommended

“Well cooked food - cash only”
Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

We went here after beeing at the national museum. Remember to bring cash! We didn't, and had to walk quite far to an ATM that accepted foreign cards. The waitress felt so sorry for us and "removed" one beer from the bill as a compensation.

Food was very nice served! Tasted really good, but as we are a little unused to the stranger Japanese food, some of the food was a little odd. :-)

“Traditional restaurant with great atmosphere and view”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

Visited this restaurant when the cherries were blossoming. The area was very beautiful, the view spectacular, and the place very full. Had a table after 20 minutes wait. Service was very efficient and friendly. Food was excellent, we had a "fixed menu", I think the Ala Carte list was not available as this was absolute high season for the restaurant. The place had a "traditional" Japanese look and feel, but had also normal tables and chairs. Not cheap, but not excessively expensive either.
