“Main souvenir street in Tokyo - for all your gimmicky needs!”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

Lining the main street leading up to the temple are countless souvenir shops selling fabrics, swords, chopsticks, Japanese sweets and cakes - anything imaginable. If you're in Tokyo and finding it difficult to find some souvenirs amongst the other areas (e.g. Shinjuku, Shibuya), then come visit this street!

Lots of souvenir and Japanese snacks you can buy home. Immerse yourself in their culture and food here. You surely won't regret coming. :) bought everything I wanted to buy home here including freshly made delicious Japanese pancake with red bean inside

“Colourful and vibrant shopping street connected to the Sensoji temple”
Reviewed May 30, 2012

There are lots of interesting stuffs on this 200 metres long street. You can find lots of souvenior items like key chains, japanese fans, fridge magnets, yukatas, t-shirts, umbrellas, shoes, bags, etc.. as well as traditional local snacks along this area.
You might spot some Japanese ladies dressed in the traditional kimono on the street as well.
The prices of the stuffs sold here are not negotiable and most of the stalls are priced the same. However, I notice the stalls at the further end might cost you a few yen lesser, depending on the things you buy.
