“Colourful and vibrant shopping street connected to the Sensoji temple”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2012

There are lots of interesting stuffs on this 200 metres long street. You can find lots of souvenior items like key chains, japanese fans, fridge magnets, yukatas, t-shirts, umbrellas, shoes, bags, etc.. as well as traditional local snacks along this area.
You might spot some Japanese ladies dressed in the traditional kimono on the street as well.
The prices of the stuffs sold here are not negotiable and most of the stalls are priced the same. However, I notice the stalls at the further end might cost you a few yen lesser, depending on the things you buy.

“Nakamise Street Bazaar”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2012

Nakamise street in Asakusa is lined by shops where you get souvenirs and local delicacies for gift giving back home. Try the Japanese pancakes with red bean paste filling or the sesame seed crackers, both very good!

“AMAZING!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2012

Strolling (or rather bumping) your way along this street is a wonderfully, unique experiences! While many of the shops have kitschy souvenirs, there are some great finds hiding among the shops. We found freshly made (still hot!) rice crackers that were mindblowingly good, fresh made mochi, and some other great food stands. I really enjoyed people watching and strolling the area. I cannot wait to go back on another visit to Tokyo!
