This is 3 blocks away from Ueno Station and it is a very fine hotel. even though the rooms are very small, we had two beds for both of us. Good service and excellent staff! Breakfast is good with plenty of things to choose from.

We had a 1 day layover in Tokyo and needed a hotel for the night. Arrived in Narita, took the Keisei Limited Express to Ueno and found the hotel a couple blocks from the front of the station. At Narita we bought a 24 hour discount Metro pass for 800 yen to use for the day in the city. Came in the morning so they stored our luggage as check in is at 2:00 PM. We went sightseeing to Asakusa, Harajuku, Shibuya, and to an onsen in Sugamo. They moved our luggage to our room. Next day we had them store our luggage again as we had an afternoon flight out of Haneda. We went shopping in Ueno and came back picked up the luggage and took the JR to Shinagawa and then the Keiku line to Haneda. Easy with planning. Had a friend along that had not been to Tokyo so this was a quick 1 day tour.

Room Tip: Rooms are small and efficient with space for bed, desk, refer, tv, and prefab bathroom.

The hotel new and clean. staff were friendly and helpful. i stayed in a twin room for 4 nights. although the room was very small, the beds were confortable and I could get everything I need. The hotel was easy to access from the JR station and there were a lot dining places and convenient stores nearby.

Yes, the rooms are small (welcome to Japan, reviewers - if you're staying in the city, 3 star hotels and many of the 4 stars as well will always have tiny rooms) - however, the place is impeccably clean, there's freshly ground free coffee in the lobby 24x7, it's a 7-10 minutes walk to the airport train station (Keisei Ueno), 5 minutes to Ueno station and street market, breakfast is nice and reasonably priced, and the staff will bend over backwards to provide impeccable service all through the day and night. Highly recommended!

The room is very small. You can open a hand carry luggage on the floor, not a checked-in luggage. But it has everything you need in it. The bed is comfy. The bathroom is even smaller but the shower is good (strong pressure and hot water). There's no view (huge wall facing the window). They should give complimentary water bottle in the room. The breakfast room is so bad (no decor, cold, by the hotel entrance) that we didn't have breakfast. It was not included anyway. Check-out is at 11am. We were 30 min late and they tried to charge us an extra hour. This is not a pay-by-the-hour hotel. We had to argue with them for flexibility from them. Location is good especially to catch the Narita Express train to the airport. Staff barely speak English.
