The rooms are small, as usual for Tokyo standard, with free wifi, a plus point.
The price is very reasonable if compared to other hotel in the sizzling area of Akasuka. Staff are polite and able to communicate in english.

Only stayed for a night before transfering to Nikko the next day. Very close to the Tobu Asakusa station and Asakusa subway station. Lots of eateries nearby too.

Have to sleep with window opened as there are no aircon during winter.. only heater.. =( this happens to all hotel that I stayed in during my Japan trip this year. Not much noise even though slept with window opened.

Definitely a hotel with good value in Asakusa

The rooms are clean with decent beds and good internetconnection. Single rooms are extremely small. Breakfast is OK. The hotell is well situated close to the sizzling area of Asakusa. Do not sleep with open windows, the noise can be annoying.

Stayed many times before they changed ownership and name (previous name is Sun Hotel Asakusa). but first time after the new name adopted. Dont see too many differences between the new name and old name. Service is good although not every front desk staff speaks English. The overall experience (5 nights) is good although there was some annoying noise lasting about 5-10 minutes each time in two of the nights and once in early morning. The noise which is quite loud is from the bathroom. It appears to be water running under the washing basin or bathtub. Called front desk the first time hearing the sound as dont know it will ever stop. The sound stopped before the staff came to our room. Did not bother to call hotel staff the second time as we know the sound will stop. but it is still annoying particularly when it is in the early morning. We believe it is due to occupants in neighbouring room or upstairs using
the washing basin or shower. This has never happened before (in the Sun Hotel days) and we think Unizo should take a look into the origin of the noise/sound which can be annoying.

It is a very nice place to stay. The price is wonderful due to the conditions that the hotel offers you. The rooms are small, its true but the cleaness of the place makes you forget it.

Took a train direct from the airport to Asakusa station, then walked about 5 minutes to the hotel. The hotel is along the main road that also leads to the Sensoji area (about 5 min walk away) and is near a lot of eateries and cafes.

The room is adequate--I had a super single and was more than happy. The window couldn't open of course but I wasn't there for the view. Reception was decent (speaks a bit of English) and there's free wifi in the lobby. Otherwise, you can pay to use the computers in the business center.

The Asakusa/Ueno area is not really what one goes to Tokyo to see. However, I really like this area and would recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the skyscrapers and have a feel of old Tokyo.

I loved their service and good location!
Restaurant is right underneath so no broblem for your breakfast.
Very nice area of Asakusa and a lot of wonderful restaurants around.
Near Akihabara, Ueno and Ginza.
Not so roomy but cozy clean room is available.
You can bring your laptop then you can connect internet easily.

Top notch!

A little hotel in Asakusa, the old part of Tokyo. The hotel has a great location close to shrines and resturants and everything that is happening in the Taito City Area. The rooms are small but had everything that you need. Negative for me was the fact that the window was not able to open.
