Our Indian tour guide waxed nostalgic for the dishes of his youth, so we disrupted several days of Japanese food for a change of pace at this cozy restaurant. The staff were exceedingly pleasant and kind. We were quite surprised at the paltry size of the dishes. Our "main" dish included Tandoori chicken which was certainly not Tandoori, and (I kid you not) included one nugget of chicken (yes, 1 nugget) for each of us (or a total of four chicken nuggets). The appetizers included a dal served in a bowl that would have made for a great side dish to one person. This was to be divided among the four of us. Indian and Thai food are among the most inexpensive cuisines on the planet (i.e. great potential for high margins)! These guys had to be the stingiest restauranteurs I'd ever encountered. When I spoke to them about it, they agreed they could have done better and very kindly invited me to return. I think not.
