We couldn't have stayed at a better place during our ten day visit to Tokyo. It's a bit outside of the city but you'll be experiencing a lovely suburb with two train stations within walking distance and a lot of grocery shops nearby. Nicholas is a perfect host: always friendly, always very very helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much and would recommend this place to everyone who thinks feeling at home is more important than the amount of stars of a hotel rating. Thank you for making our trip special!

Family Inn Saïko, one of our best moment in Tokyo. If you want to discover Tokyo, you have to choose Family Inn Saïko : in this ryokan, you are a real guest, it's a very good place in the town, just near Ikebukuro subway station, the hearth of Tokyo transportation. Nicholas and all the staff help you all the time. Family Inn Saïko is a very good way for a first trip in Tokyo : very good rooms, happyness and family spirit with grandmam. It was our first contact with Japan and we will never forget it ! Choose Family Inn Saïko !!! Hervé, Isa, Guigui.

This was one of the most pleasant stays that my wife and I have ever had. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to ensure that your stay is excellent. They provide helpful advice about sightseeing, train schedules, local cuisine, and Japanese culture all in a friendly way. Many members of the staff have excellent English skills, so don't worry about communication.

To those who may be on the face about this because of the location in Ikebukuro, let me say that it was not inconvenient at all. It was so nice to take a 15 minute stroll to the station and see the lovely neighborhood that surrounds the inn. Furthermore, the location did not keep us from seeing everything we wanted to see in Tokyo and the surrounding area.

In short we really cannot recommend this excellent inn enough. They deserve the excellent reputation they have earned.

The Hotel is very clean and nice, the staff and service great, they give you lot of advice what to see and where to go. As the price is comparibly low for Tokyo, you have to sacrifice a little bit on the location

Even though Family Inn Saiko is not big, it does have all the facilities that we expect to get from hotels. Everything is clean and well-organized. People there are thoughtful and friendly. During our stay, we were well taken care of not as a guest, but good old friends that never meet before. We are happy with our selection. We have made recommendations to our friends with travel plans to Tokyo and we ourselves definitely will visit Family Inn Saiko again in our next trip to Tokyo.
