Quite an amazing range of fish and marine life. The kids also loved the seal show.

A wide range of wildlife to view and a couple of fun shows to watch (include a pair of seals who looked like they were having a fun old time!)

Very nice and not too big, ideal if you have small children as it's not overwhelming in scale.
But it's also quite busy, so don't go expecting peaceful views of the fish.

Lots of variety of sealife. Clean tanks meant that you could really see inside and take some good pictures. I loved the sealions playing around and they seemed very happy with their living conditions. Feeding time was good to watch and they went did a bunch of tricks which obv. drew the crowds.

This aquarium has been upgraded recently and the exhibits and facilities were generally quite good, although it is a reasonably small aquarium compared to some.

The problem was that visiting this place on a Sunday was so busy that it was unpleasant. Queues for tickets, queues for elevators to get up to the aqarium, and again when leaving to get back out... and too many people to really get near many of the better exhibits.

With young kids, it was more or less impossible to see many of the exhibits. That basically left the choice of either letting them free and attempting to push their way through the crowd to get near the front, and hoping they could find their way back; or carrying them up high and seeing a little bit from a distance over the crowd's heads, neither of which were really very good options. It was almost impossible to move for several minutes on a few occasions while trying to push a baby pram (stroller) because the crowd was too thick.

The temperature was also a bit hard to take too on the cold day we visited - quite warm inside at some points, but the outside parts and queuing for tickets was very cold. Also outside is the penguin display, which was too crowded to really see, and an unusual elevated donut-style tube for seals, which actually was quite sad to watch as the seals were stuck swimming around in circles.

The entry fee was reasonable, and this place is worth a visit but I'd strongly suggest avoiding weekends and holidays if you want to actually be able to see things and enjoy the experience.

We had a great lunch afterwards at Agio Italian restaurant in the same building - highly recommended.
