Small and cozy place which probably fits about 8pax. They have a few selection of A5 beef. Since we can’t read Japanese, had the chef recommend a few to us.

Besides beef, they do serve vegetables which you can grill it on your own. Alcohol is also available.

I guess if the restaurant isn’t too crowded, it’s worth a try! As it was raining on the night we visited, we didn’t have to queue!

The place is very tiny, serving up the best self grilled beef. The rice is excellent as well. Pricey but great food.

This was an unique experience for grilling our own meat, standing up. The space is super cramped. They do not have an English menu so they suggested Chef's special 8 piece. Their beef is charged by each piece ranging from 200¥ - 300¥ ($1.83 - $2.75 USD). Don't be fooled, it adds up! When you add up the forced drinks, rice and the veggies.

When you start to order, they force you to order a paid drinks and you are not allow to order water (free). You can order water 2nd round. Each slice is really not that big, see pic)

You can also order veggie. One Shitake mushroom is 250¥ ($2.30 USD).

It is a bit annoying that we didn't know which type of meat we were eating, it was definitely tasty however.

DO NOT order brisket, it is not even chewable. I understand brisket needs to cook a long time to be tender, they shouldn't even have it to be grilled.

We didn't feel like we eat that much, and our bill was 20,070¥ ($184.12 USD).

The one good thing is they take credit card!

Not sure eating beef in Japan is all that special considering it is so much cheaper in the US.

This restaurant was incredible!
Anyone who gave this place a bad review simply doesn’t like Japanese food, it’s that simple.
The wait staff was incredibly nice and spoke the best English we have encountered, and the food was so good I would eat there every day if I lived here.

Not to mention it was the cheapest meal we have had!
The “cheap cuts” that are “fatty” that the other reviewers mentioned is actually the best and most popular cut - if you don’t like it GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - it was incredibly clear on the menu that it was fairly rare beef (a special type of Japanese cooking!)

Anyone who didn’t like this place probably hasn’t travelled much.

Yakiniku Restaurant Located near the Seibu Shinjuku Station, it is a heaven for not expensive beef. Because it is very expensive. But here is the love of the little meat to taste the best of meat at a price of A5 for only 300 yen, but other good quality meat starts at 150 yen quality with very good price. Not bad regret
