The restaurant Ikinari has several branches across Japan. We found an outlet in Sapporo. They tried the steaks in both locations.
The main difference between the two outlet is that the Sapporo outlet allows you to have your steak sitting down while the Shinjuku outlet only has standing space. The difference ends here.
Their beef steaks at both locations were of certain quality, and they were also reasonably priced. The steaks were cooked simply with oil, peeper and salt. This allowed you to fully appreciate the taste of your steak. You can decide how much steak you would like to order, and they would cut it for you. You can add side dishes of salad and vegetables to company your steak.
Be prepared to wait in line for your steak in the Tokyo outlet during meal time. For Sapporo, there was no queue. Maybe it was new.
