Stayed at the Sunroute Shinjuku at the beginning and end of my Japanese trip. Rooms are quiet and clean and compact. Located 5 minutes from the South exit of Shinjuku station makes it a great base to explore Tokyo. Staff are friendly and helpful. For families travelling with fussy eater kids, a 24 hr Mcdonalds is a minute away, lots of food and coffee shops nearby and a Family Mart convenience across the road.
There are apparently two different sized standard rooms on each floor, the first 2 nights we had a room that was big enough for our suitcases to be on floor and opened. On our return we had room 718, i could not get the cases past the end of the twin beds. The only place to put them was on the bed which is standard for lots of hotels in Tokyo.

Room Tip: There are different sized rooms, ask if you are getting a compact room when you book.

My daughter is going to Sendagaya school. The only thing I know is it located around takadanobaba then I found Sunroute Takadanobaba. I took Narita Airport Limousine to Shinjuku Washinton Hotel then took a taxi to the hotel only 1500Yen. The location is great opposite the Takadanobaba station surrounded by shopping center Big Box , KFC , Burger King,Penquin shop and many japanese restaurant. From Takadanobaba station I can go to Shinjuku,Asakusa,Uano with JR Yamanote. It is a great location hotel you will not find at the reasonable price in this area.
I am so happy and thanks to Tripadvisor that I consult every question about my trip. I am an old generation Thai lady who hardly use computer but now I consult and search everything according to my next trip with Tripadvisor.

Great hotel, amazing value for your money. Literally across the street from the JR and Metro stations and only 2 stops away from the bustling Shinjuku. There is still tones to do right around the hotel, restaurants and shops and more. The hotel itself was very nice and extremely clean. The staff were very helpful. The room was typical Japanese style, a bit small but efficient and comfortable with a very clean bathroom and all amenities provided. A great hotel, great value!

I like it as it is decently priced with its very good location plus very good room. I will certainly park myself in this hotel during my next visit to Tokyo.

Go online to book this hotel as it is much more convenient when one wishes to make changes. I went through JCB and ended up had to pay EXTRA to change my room to a standard twin.

I recommend standard twin which is much bigger than standard double.

I stayed here in one of the "Ladies Rooms" on a recent trip to Tokyo! Great location, with easy access to two train lines including the Shinjuku station. Shopping, restaurants and other amenities are very close by. Hotel is very nice with smaller, but well appointed rooms. I was travelling alone and booked into a single. There literally was not enough room to leave my 26" roller bag open on the floor. That said the room was very clean, came with free internet and I had great views of the Tokyo skyline. My package included a daily coupon for breakfast in the hotel's main restaurant. Breakfast is a good mix of western and traditional Japanese breakfast items. Hotel is also on the express bus route to Narita for easy ground transportation. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Not sure if this is only the case when booking singles, but the bathroom has a clear glass door and...

Great location, only minutes to Shinjuku Station. Many eateries and shops nearby. Ideal for overnight stay, rooms clean but very small. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Good value for price.

Rooms much smaller than European or US rooms but located a very short walk from Shinjuku station.
Restaurant and bar services pretty good and all the staff at Reception, Restaurant and bars spoke fluent English - thank goodness !
