This is an old hotel but very strategic location and close to shinjuku JR/subway.

As I was traveling with 9 people the only available room for 3 person were 609, 709, 809 and 909.
Luckily enough that the walls between the floors was also not thick enough so the wifi portable that I rent was able to reach the other members of my traveling group
I stayed for 7 days and quite ok with this hotel.

This hotel was also undergone a renovation when I stayed there and they said will be finish in the end of January 2014.

First it got to be the location of this hotel, 2 minutes straight walk from Shinjuku west exit. Great choices for food n restaurant near hotel. They offer Tempur mattress and pillow, which is the next best thing for a good rest. but could have done better, by offering a choise of a second pillow. The room come with heater that works well, during autumn season, but the room do not have any cupboard and drawer, for your clothes. Which can be a bit messy. Overall I will stay again, for the location, Tempur bedding and heater.

I have booked a 1 night stay with Kadoya Hotel in order to transit to Hakone.
Being a first timer in Tokyo, this hotel does not have any grand entrance nor grand decor but this is the least importance as they have super efficient, courteous services, laundry rooms and even the best toilet system as compared to another 5 stars hotel which I stayed later in the trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone as Shinjuku is a vibrant area with lots of food outlets and great accessibility. Thank you to all the staff in Kadoya Shinjuku Hotel

Hotel Kadoya is in a fantastic location for exploring Tokyo. It is 5 minutes from the Shinjuku Station from where you can take the train (both JR and Subway) anywhere in Tokyo. The rooms are small but comfortable.

The staff is very nice and friendly but are not too helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. Great small hotel in the PERFECT location.

Hotel is conveniently located next to a 24hours convenience store (Lawson) and very nearby to all restaurants, shops, shopping malls and just 5 mins walk to Shinjuku Station. Pronto and Doutor Coffee opposite the hotel served good breakfast. Hotel room is very clean and well-maintained. The twin room by the Japanese Standard is big, clean and comfortable. We had a great stay at Kadoya hotel, highly recommended to all looking for accommodation in Shinjuku.

To get to Kadoya hotel, take the airport limousine bus and alight at Keio Plaza hotel bus stop. We prefer to alight at Keio Plaza hotel bus stop instead of Shinjuku West Station as it is less crowded and easier to walk. Then get through Keio Plaza hotel lobby and walk towards Shinjuku Post Office direction to get to Kadoya. It is a 5 mins walk from Keio Plaza hotel bus stop to Kadoya Hotel with the luggages.
