Beautiful store. Wonderful quality in all departments. The food floor in the basement is a must, just a joy to see even if you don't buy.

Isetan is a lovely shopping experience. I can spend hours just browsing the deserts and chocolates in the Food Hall. Every item is exquisitely prepared and presented - and exquisitely wrapped for purchase. I also always enjoy a visit to the Kimono department on the 7th floor. I love to see the silks, hair pieces, shoes and other accessories that make up the outfit. Whether browsing or shopping, Isetan is always worth the visit. And, it is very easy to get to - with an entrance directly from the train station.

What a great store. All of the departments were like a candy store to me. I wanted to buy something in each department. It is laid out so the shopping is easy, visually appealing, and comfortable. I loved this shopping experience. Go here first before you go anywhere else. I promise, for a Californian who has been everywhere, this is first rate. The food floor is unbelievable as well. Wait to eat and get some food to go. Enjoy!

Having visited and stayed in Shinjuku several times over the past 8 years, Isetan is one of those apartment stores that begs your attention. A great array of colourful and exotic foods in the food court at the basement. The clothing and other goods on several levels are amazing and well worth looking over. Take your time, Isetan isn't far from the station so you won't arrive tired from the walk.
