A small victorian inspired lobby in the middle of modern Shinjuku. Rooms are small really with not much closet space.
Buffet breakfast was okay.
Location for this hotel is great since you're close to small shops and restos. Especially the 100 yen store I love.

This hotel is located right next to the Metro (Maranouchi line; Nishi-Shinjuku station) and therefore makes it easy to get out and explore. The JR Shinjuku station is a five minute walk. The hotel has a very nice lobby. The rooms are small (as is typical in Japan). Beware that some double rooms have just one bed (these rooms are ultra small) and others have two separate beds (rooms are bigger).

Shah Rukh's tips: Beware that even non-smoking rooms have been smoked in. Ask in advance for a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor! And hope for the best ...

Yes rooms are small, but how much time do you really spend in a hotel room?

Great value, clean, central location, and friendly staff. I would stay there again for my next trip.

It is literally 30 m from MTR station which was helpful when carrying a pair of skis from the train :)

Only down side was they had run out of non-smoking rooms ( I only booked 1 day in advance), however they did provide me with a bottle of air freshner and after spraying that I didnt notice anything.

We have booked to go back. Best hotel we have been to in Tokyo. Great location in the best part of shinjuku with family mart next door. Be warned some parts of shinjuku are less than desirable .Near the station. Good price. Rooms are not large and beds are hard but this is Tokyo with out breaking the bank. Who needs to waste money on a large room when you can go out and explore Tokyo.
Can Do is a 5 min walk and its a must see 100 yen shop just amazing everything 70p and the quality is amazing. Who said japan was expensive? It really puts £1 land and dollar tree to shame. I cant wait to go back

My friends and I had booked a 4-people room! Although a bit crowded, we couldn't have complained more given the price we paid. Extremely garden feel of the lobby to welcome guests. Wifi covered the whole hotel. Located right next to Nishi-shinjuku station means everywhere with subway are accessible to us! Will definitely return here. It's such a shame we didn't manage to stroll around the shinjuku area given our packed schedule.

The hotel is in a good location near Shinjuku station. You can walk from the station easily, even with luggage, but without a map its a little tricky. Lots of convenient stores etc around which was very useful. Not far to walk to the main area of Shinjuku. The staff were friendly, and whilst the rooms were small they were clean and no doubt the size of most tokyo hotel rooms. We experienced a large earthquake when here and the building did not fall - which is always what you need! We would recommend it.

Location good, close to transportation. Small lobby and reception, rooms clean and small. I found the place a little impersonal and as I like to live in hotels no good for me. Rates are not very attractive. Clean. Will not stay again
