The hotel is great, but the staff is amazing. It was a bit confusing when first going in, but once I found my way up the elevator the rest fell in line. We had a great view. The internet was not working very well in our room so the staff immediately brought a router up and plugged it in right in our room. It was a bit hard to figure out what they wanted you to do at the pool (where you were to shower vs. change), but it also had an amazing view.

It only looses a star because the location is a bit wanting. It is a bit of a walk to the train station and the easiest public transit way to get to Shibuya is actually to take a bus, which was not ideal.

If I had only one sentence to use about this hotel, it would be the sentence above this one. We have been to Japan 5 times as a family, and EVERY SINGLE TIME we have stayed into this beautiful hotel. The staff are welcoming, the rooms are majestic, who cares about the expense? IT DESERVES to be expensive. That's how good it is. The pool is MAGNIFICENT, and the restaurants, only one word needs to describe them. BRILLIANT. I'll say it again: BRILLIANT. You get my point.

Great weekend visit! Location was perfect and central to wonderful shops, restaurants and malls. Our room was a great king-sized room with views of the park and Tokyo Tower. If you have the time and money to splurge for a weekend here, do it! Be sure to have a drink at the New York Bar, and try to get a table by the window. The views are amazing. Staff is top-notch! We also had dinner at the New York Grill which was a fabulous time. The Peak Lounge is also a great place for a drink with stellar city views. Overall this is a very high-class hotel. Not cheap, so be prepared. Oh yes, if you like to workout, check out the gym and pool too! A great place for couples!!!!!!

This hotel is located on the 41st floor of a highrise complex in Shinjuku, which affords hotel rooms a spectacular view of the Tokyo city skyline or Mount Fuji. The check-in process was extremely smooth and our room was well-appointed and spacious. The hotel's concierge was very helpful with arranging city tours and the location is perfect for exploring the Shinjuku and Harajuku neighbourhoods on foot. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, Tokyo's busiest train station, from which the metro, JR lines and shinkasen (bullet trains) are accessible. We enjoyed the beautiful 360-degree views of the Tokyo skyline from the New York Bar (one of the scenes from the movie Lost in Translation) and recommend visiting the place at least once for a drink. Other than that, the service, location and room conditions in the hotel were excellent - they decorated our room and sent complimentary champagne and snacks when we notified them we were on our honeymoon. We did not sample all of the hotel's dining establishments - we opted for the breakfast buffet in the AM which offers a wide variety of continental and Asian breakfast options and chose to sightsee and dine elsewhere during the day, but we recommend the lobby coffee shop and deli for a quick snack. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we recommend the hotel for its attentive service and good location.

Room Tip: Suggest you request a rooms with the Tokyo city view (in lieu of the Mt. Fuji view), as you can see Mt. Fuji from one of the hotel's restaurants and library lobby.

To get this hotel can be a little tricky if you're new to Tokyo. Once we got the hang of it, it's 0.5 mile walk from the closest Subway station (Tochomae) and there is a shuttle that takes you from Shinjuku's busy area directly to the hotel.

The hotel has a breath taking view of the whole city. You'll see a view in every restaurant, bar, lobby, and hotel room.

The service was amazing. From the door man/woman, the front desk who walked us to our room to check us in, and to the housekeeping who were very attentive to cleaning our room.

The bar was over-priced, but that's what you pay for a beautiful view of the city **and bonus** waved cover charge for being a hotel guest.

The breakfast buffet wasn't that impressive. I think the best thing I ate was a croissant.

The room itself was very pleasant. Quiet, spacious, clean, and comfortable. I loved the bathroom!

I would definitely come here again!
