“Great Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2013

The service is unbelievable A++ quality and they don't accept tips.

Location: It is business location and you see a lot of business people around the area. Close to Train station is a super plus. It's a main train station so you can go anywhere. It is bit far to walk to the red light district to have a drink after you walk all day sightseeing, but not bad maybe 20-25mins walk?

Restaurants at Hotel: Buffet was OK taste and not much selection. Service was OK. Lots of people there.
The Bourbon bar there has low seating really interesting. Drinks are good. Service is good.
We also went to the sky bar in that hotel. It was very foggy that night we can't see anything but the drinks were delicious. Service was good.

If you are looking for A++++ Service, this hotel is amazing.

Room Tip: We had simmons king bed and it was a king bed. I had travelled to Asia and many "King" bed...

Stayed at the Keio Plaza in Shinjuku for four nights. It's a very grand hotel, however, it's quite dated, the rooms are not modern at all except for the television. Don't get me wrong the bed was fantastic, but the fixtures and fittings and overall presentation of the hotel did not speak to me at all. You can never really fault japanese service, and the same goes for Keio Plaza, but I think it's past due for a little revitalising.

I stayed here for 5 nights, booked 2 rooms. Upon arrival, the Q was draggy, and the receptionists were helpful enough with the basic English, no communication issue. Make sure you ask for wifi router in order for you to have the internet connection routed, if you do not request they will not inform you about this. The room was a tad outdated and cold in the winter, the portable heater was not good enough. And I had electrical problem whenever I turned on the heater causing black out in the room. Bathroom was okay, nothing special, with hollow partition wall so you still able to hear noises from your neighbour. There is a convenient store down the hotel at basement which is very helpful at night when your suffer from night food craving.

Hotel is not too far from Tokyo Metropolitan Building about 5mins away, and around 10mins to Shinjuku and accessible from west exit if you are getting off at Shinjuku station. And if you and your family are planning to visit Disneyland, better make your way fast to the Bellboy counter and book for your seats because they are limited. The schedules are installed on the wall at the bellboy counter.

This hotel is located in the financial district, but close to the mall, public transportation (subway and LR), restaurants and shoppes. From the outside, the hotel is impressive but the rooms are small and the furniture and bathrooms are extremely dated. Having spent the preceding days in a Kempenski property in Beijing, the difference in decor was dramatic and depressing. The furniture is straight out of the 70s and in need of an immediate upgrade. The room is small and, for a king-sized room, the desk is oddly positioned in the middle of the floor instead of against the window or wall (we quickly rectified this by rearranging the furniture - I'm sure this happens quite a lot). But the hotel rooms were clean and well attended, the bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Although outdated and looking a little worse for wear, the chair in the room was a recliner which was very comfortable on the rare occasion we were in the room.

Our room rate included breakfast which is offered at one of three restaurants; our favorite offering both the Asian and Western breakfast options was very good. There are many restaurant options inside the hotel itself, all that are much more expensive than exterior restaurants just steps away but convenient with great service. Not to be missed is the view from the lounge/bar on the 45th floor, a great place to relax and reflect on the events of the day with friends.

We stayed here in janurary and it was perfect. The rooms were large by japanese standard and the hotel was in a good location. A must in to have a beer in their bar on the top floor. The staff were very helpful.

It is ideal because the airport bus drops you right at the front door. It is the best way to get from narita to the airport.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a renovated room

We stayed for 3 nights and the location, amenities and service were very good. Their facial liquid soap was Sheseido and they had hair elastics for women (quite useful for me with long hair). Their liquid body gel, shampoo and conditioner weren't the run of the mill kind so I truly enjoyed using those. They had a sofa bed apart from the comfortable beds and the rooms are also wifi ready. Staff are fast, efficient and courteous, considering that Keio is a very busy hotel, with a lot of group check ins everyday.
