Shinjuku Prince Hotel
Ranked #13 of 84 Hotels / Ryokan in Shinjuku

You cannot ask for a better location, easy access, and easy to find. Plenty of shops and food nearby, as well as the train station. Shinjuku Park nearby is an urban oasis, as they say. The express train from Narita takes about an hour to get there. The only quirk is the weird set up of check in being a floor below ground level. I did not use the restaurant.

Room Tip: Away from elevator!

The rooms were spotless, staff courteous, most spoke English ( some very broken ha ha). Close to the railway station for travel to other places and the subway. Enjoyable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first time in Japan and i choose to stay here due to its location, just off station and short walk to all the night and shopping districts. Short distance to Isetan, my favourite mall otherwise plenty of shops and shops all over the area. Also fairly easy to reach both from Haneda by bus and Narita by train.
The room is really small as well as the bath, but this is standard in Japan. I would recommend for any first timer in Japan to stay here if budget has.

Location is excellent if you are a real shopper as the hotel is connected to shopping centre and shopping area. Room is not as spacious as others reviewed. Typical japanese room size. Wifi is stable and available in both rooms and lobby. The only con is that the airport transfer bus is 15-20 mins walk away thru very crowded streets.

Very clean, superbly well-located, but incredibly tiny. Wifi had to be paid per use but affordable. Although, most hotels have wifi for free. Service was efficient, the Japanese are very polite. The view was pretty epic as well, with the full-length window. It was hard for 2 people to maneuver around the minute room, especially with luggages, but the cleanliness made it liveable. Hotel is located in close proximity to Shinjuku Station and many eateries as well.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views!

The hotel is located next to kakibucho area. From the JR station, you need to find the right exit (we exit from south gate, go straight before turning left, walk thru LUMINE, use the elevator to get down, cross the road in your left and walk all the way), or you'll spent a while to reach hotel. Room has no wardrobe and very small. On the position e note, you've no lack of eateries around the hotel.

This is the hotel to stay at for anyone looking for quick access to quintessential Tokyo. You are close to a number of serious attractions, shopping and transport routes.

This is Tokyo; space is limited so rooms are small but you certainly shouldn't hold this against the hotel. Rooms are clean, and if you are as lucky as us and get something on the 22nd floor you will have views that compete with some of the viewing decks in the city that you might pay for.

Download some movies before you go, the tv has only 1 English speaking channel and don't get excited about room service as it doesn't exist. To make up for this the free wi-fi in the room was fast and simple to access.

In terms of noise, you are right in the middle of things here-there is an enormous tv screen in the square outside the hotel as well as a train station that connects you to everywhere, so on the lower floors you may hear a little of this-but nothing a pair of earplugs can't fix!

This, in my opinion is the only place to stay in Tokyo!

Room Tip: There are 25 floors. Some smoking and others on-smoking, floor 25 is a restaurant. Aim high if you...
