My favorite bistrot style restaurant in Tokyo. It’s 5 minutes from JR Takadanobaba station. It is a small restaurant (accommodates around 16-18 diners) with the combination of excellent food, good service, pleasant interior (simple décor with white curtains) and cheap price. The portions here are HUGE and the price is reasonable, well.. considered cheap if you compare those in Azabu Juban or Ginza. Lunch is around 1200 yen with 5 choices of entrees and 6 choices of main dishes. Drink is not included but they give you free cold water. For dessert is 500 yen (coffee/tea + dessert). They also serve you a basket of bread before they serve you the entrees, I must say even for the starter, both bread and the entrees are almost like the main dish for me. You can also come here for dessert only, I always thought that every dessert portion should be small but not in this restaurant, I even shared my dessert!! We went back full and happy!! Will always go back again whenever I am in Tokyo.
TIPS: The restaurant is small and always crowded so a reservation (recently 5-6 weeks before) is a MUST.
