Tiny room - but it's Tokyo and the rooms cheap, what else would you expect?? Barely enough room for a suitcase, but the room is perfect for single travellers or those who only want a room to sleep in.
Aside from being tiny was modern, clean and in a great location.

The room is really really small. Just enough to fit in two person and two decent sized luggage bags. It really clean and tidy. Location is conveniently located next to a train station to travel around Tokyo. I took the late night AirAsia flight and arrived close to midnight. Trains were not operating. Luckily for two kind Japanese to assist my family to find the hotel.

Would definitely return.

I chose this hotel because I wanted somewhere close to the Ni Chome district in Shinjuku. It is in easy 10 min walk (less if you're a fast walker) and very reasonably priced. I chose the smallest room size, and the room was small, but bigger then other hotels I had stayed in in Japan. There was still room for a small desk and bedside table. I also had a window which gave me a great view overlooking the street.

The only downside was the smell of cigarettes in the room, but as I had a cold this wasn't really an issue for me!

This hotel has a great location literally right outside the Higashi Shinjuku metro stop and just a short walk to all the excitement in Shinjuku. There's a couple nearby convenience stores (you're in Japan, eating at them is normal and AWESOME) and restaurants too.
Tokyo can be unbelievably expensive, but this hotel is extremely affordable for the size and location.
Be warned, the rooms are tiny. The room had a double bed, a TV, a desk and a mini fridge, but there was barely any room for anything else. We had a suitcase and a backpack and barely fit them next to the bed. There's no closet or dresser. The only thing to hold clothing is a coat rack with two hangers on it. People literally leave their suitcases in the lobby because they won't fit in the room. We didn't have this problem, but we also travel light. The bathroom is also tiny, particularly the shower, though it is very functional and the toilet is your typical high-tech accommodation.
For someone not used to a room this small, you will be kind of stunned. But I looked at it as an experience. You're in Tokyo, get out and see the city. The room is just a place to put your head down and it's definitely comfortable even if it is small.

Staff at E-Hotel was great plus some spoke English it is ideally located for seeing Tokyo and helpful when asking questions. It has free internet access, a small refrigerator, nearby subway station, and laundry facilities. Plus there a lot of restaurants nearby, grocery store, a 7-11, and convenience stores making eating out relatively inexpensive. Nonetheless, It does have a few drawbacks. It is quite far from Narita Airport and Disney. The room was the size of a two berth cruise cabin and very cramped with two suitcases. Nonetheless staff and location made up for the shortcomings of the small room.

Room Tip: Third floor is the only floor that has a washer and vending machine.
