Great price (paid ~ $130 AUD per night inc breakfast). Location is very central and although its meant to be bordering on red light district, did not feel unsafe at all. Rooms are small however very modern and the shower is amazing. We stayed on the business floor (level 11 and above are business levels) so I'm not sure if this is in a standard room but we got a proper shower (located next to a bathtub) instead of a bathtub shower. Wi-Fi kept dropping out which wasn't a huge issue. You just had to keep reconnecting with the password. Lawsons downstairs if you needed snacks. Would definitely stay again.

I've stayed here twice now, Jan 2010 and Feb 2014. Both stays were great and I really liked the hotel in 2010, I must say that in my opinion the hotel has improved and is even better now. Staff are lovely, rooms spotlessly clean and still in great condition. The quality and variety if the food in the breakfast buffet is also much improved and enjoyable.
We love the location right in the heart of Shinjuku and easily walk from the east exit of Shinjuku station.

Quick and hassle free checkin / checkout. Room was twin, with two nice bed. Size of room is compact, as expected in Tokyo, with a nice bathroom. Stayed on 14th Floor executive rooms.
Short walk to and from Shinjuku station, and is very close to the Golden Gai area.

This is a great place to stay close to Shinjuku Sta. When leaving the station, remember to take the Kabukicho exit, in the east side (Shinjuku is huge, it is easy to get lost there). The rooms are small, but you are in Tokyo! Breakfast is nice for westerns too. Don't forget to take a coffee watching people in Shibuya, just two metro stations ahead.

I came to Tokyo for the Tokyo Marathon and sought a hotel close to the race start. I also wanted a modern, Western style bathroom. While small, this was an extremely nice, newly updated hotel bathroom with a seriously great toilet. The heated seat was much appreciated after sightseeing in wintry February. Breakfast buffet was included with our stay which defrayed meal costs and made our day more efficient. The buffet included a mix of traditional Western breakfast items (toast, cereal, OJ, fruit) and Japanese breakfast items (mackerel, miso, salad, rice, beef curry) and a rotating mix of other items (onion rings, shrimp tempura, sweet and sour pork, boiled ham). The scrambled eggs were not like Western scrambled eggs, much soupier but they got the job done. Coffee and tea and a variety of juices were available. The location is superb, a quick walk to Shinjuku Station where you can get on virtually any train line in Tokyo, and nearby Takashiyama Times Square which has a great restaurant selection if you are too tired to sort out the numerous Shinjuku offerings. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in facilitating and explaining transportation to the airport, posting mail for us, and helping with a faulty LAN line in our room. I have traveled widely and would stay again at this hotel.

Conveniently located in Shinjuku. Direct Narita express toashinjuku station. Get out from East entrance. Print out map from hotel website. Directions are super clear for you to locate the place. About 5 to 8 minutes walk from station. Lobby on third floor with elevator. Look out for the Lawson convenient store downstairs to locate the hotel. Room is small as expected for Tokyo. No luggage spaces hence need to put on the couch. But bathroom is more than suffice with bathtub and bidet. Hotel staff are friendly.

Lots of eateries nearby. Robot restaurant is just at the next alley. Situated in nearby red light district but relatively safe. On the Main Street nearer to Burger King, you can go to Calico cat cafe situated on 6th floor if you are a cats lover. Reservations required though. Very near major shopping malls such as Isetan and Takashimaya. And near many train lines that take you to all over Tokyo. There are shoppings underground too.

I stayed here for 4 nights in February 2014. This was my first visit to Tokyo, and I wanted to be within walking distance to the Shinjuku Station. With a little advance planning I didn't have any trouble finding the hotel by walking from Shinjuku Station (about a 7min walk). The location is relatively quiet (for Tokyo) but just steps from the heart of the Shinjuku entertainment district with a plethora of dining, drinking, and entertainment options. The front desk staff were polite and spoke fluent English. My room was a decent size...I was expecting something unmanageably small for the price I paid in such a central location, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually a bit larger than single hotel rooms I've stayed at in Paris. The room was quiet, had a nice view, and the bathroom was a decent size and very modern. The housekeepers did a great job everyday and the room was always spotless when I returned from sightseeing.

Most importantly, this location is excellent for transit options to explore Tokyo, and it is also a one-seat ride from Narita Airport to Shinjuku Station on the Narita Express train (about 75/80mins).

The only negatives I can think of were the free breakfast (limited options and some rather strange dishes for breakfast time) and that you have to take an escalator or lift from street level up to the 3rd floor, then take a different lift to the guest rooms. Overall, this is a great choice for travelers who looking for a clean, modern, mid-range hotel without paying the crazy prices of the Park Hyatt, etc.
