This bakery is so good that you can put on weight just by sniffing the butter in the air. Every bread and pastry is an adventure in delight.

We lucked upon this little bakery next to Shinjuku station and were very impressed with the food, so much so that we made a point of coming back for breakfast the next morning and tried several different things. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering how tasty the food was. There was quite a wide selection of menu items which made it hard to choose! Try the curried sausage in pastry – it looks a bit different but is very tasty.

One of the best parts during my many trips to Japan are the bakeries and this one is definitely a step up from the majority of them. Yes, the prices are a bit higher but you have to consider that these breads are higher quality breads. These are more aesthetic and have ingredients that are not typically found in the basic bakeries, such as smoked salmon quiches or macaroni and cheese filled breads, or basic chocolate croissants with the perfect amount of chocolate filling - all absolutely delicious by the way. So, in my opinion they're worth the price - which doesn't get any higher than 550 yen, most were within 300-400 yen range (still relatively cheap). If you're a fan of bakeries like I am, just visit this one, or any of the other Le Pain in Tokyo - like Shinjuku - to say you've tried it. Coming from a Los Angeles "Foodie"...You won't be disappointed!

If you're looking for this bakery from Shibuya station, just know you will need to take a couple of the down escalators from the department building to get to it. This bakery is also surrounded by many other delicious food booths on the same floor that I didn't get a chance to try.
