We stayed two nights at this hotel and the service is top notch. The price is on high side but Tokyo hotels are more expensive than rest countries anyway.

They provides decent breakfast as well, with around 6 to 8 main buffet items. However, if you think that the location is superb, do take notice that Shibuya Station is under major renovation. This mean walking to Shibuya through station require manual payment (140 Yen each way) to another exit. Recommend to use the Station to go/back Shibuya & Harajuku.

On flip side, at the ave (1st floor), there are plenty nice restaurants and a Lawson as well. No water bottles provided at this hotel but free coffee at lobby. Got coin laundry at lobby as well. Highly recommended hotel but watch out on Shibuya Station as it takes time to get used to renovation and passing through.

High points - location and the bed is comfy.
Low points - the rooms are TINY!! Literally we were tripping over our cases.
Portable AC unit rather than central.
Cups where not replaced so we had to wash them out ourselves.

This hotel is connected to Shibuya station which made it a breeze to get to from NRT on the Narita Express, and was a great home base for all travel around Tokyo since the station has access to so many train lines. The popular Shibuya scramble is also a short walk away. The rooms and hotel are clean and modern, although a bit more on the smaller side. We were lucky we only had one full size luggage with us, I doubt we’d have been able to fit much else (open at least). The rooms also come with a smartphone you can use while you’re here. I wish I had known this earlier before we spent money on SIM cards! It would have saved us a decent amount of money.

I've been talking up this hotel for a while now so I figured I ought to finally review it. I was on a budget during my stay and being the cheapo I am, I opted for a room on the smoking floor, though I don't smoke. Of course, the smell was strong in the hallway but I was pleasantly surprised to find my room smoke free! And for being a budget hotel, the room was much larger than I expected. I've stayed at 3* hotels that were smaller than this. The bed was also just as comfortable as 4* hotels in Japan, which I was eternally grateful for.

Unfortunately, this stay was at the end of my trip and I had gotten sick about halfway through. So by the time I reached the hotel, I was very sick. I became very familiar with the hotel during this time since I did not want to go anywhere. Still, the one time I ventured out to Akiba, the location of the hotel was extremely convenient. There's also a very nearby convenience store and a hospital just across the hall!

Breakfast looked delicious as well, but I couldn't eat very much of it. I was very thankful for their tea, lemon, and honey though. I had about 5 cups each breakfast.

Overall excellent option for people on a budget, you won't even feel like you're on a budget at all!

Room tip: My room faced the train tracks but I was never disturbed by the noise.

I have a love-hate relationship with this hotel. The hotel is very modern, in an okay neighborhood and my room was very nice and spacious. The surrounding area has mostly small hole-in-the-wall type restaurants. All I wanted was ramen so it was great. Loving Japanese breakfast, their buffet was something to look forward to every morning. There are other choices for those who prefer American or Continental breakfast.

If you’re going to hop on the subway everyday or take the Narita Express, then it’s super convenient I, on the other hand, wanted to shop near the Shibuya crossing area. It’s walkable, but returning to the hotel after a day of shopping with heavy bags was difficult.

If it’s umbrella weather - downpour for one day - being able to walk underground in the JR station to and from the Shibuya crossing was a blessing. I was able to show my hotel room key card and used this “secret passageway” many times.

Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. One or two had an “it’s just a job” demeanor and tried to keep the interaction as short as possible. BUT, one gentleman at the front desk was a superstar and seemed committed to go the extra mile.

When it was time to depart for my flight home, that is when I appreciated the hotel and its location most. The Narita Express was a very short walk since the hotel is connected to Shibuya Station.

I would consider staying here again if it’s a brief visit before heading to Narita.
