“The one place I will go back every weekend”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

I am not really a shopper, but I love lazing around and get immersed in Japanese lifestyle. Sundays trip to Yoyogi back is one not to be missed. Here. U do not just see people enjoying a walk in the park, but performances! I mean performance worth paying sometimes. There are retro elvis dancings, dancers, street baskers, actors, musicians, load of dogs and young people playing games. Just sit at random places and watch the whole park come to life. There's mini van selling drinks and food. I went during april and its one of the places to enjoy sakura too. Once you are done, move to nearby harajuku or shibuya for window shopping.

“Don't go in Winter”
Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

I went there on January, 4th and most the trees had no leaves. It wasn't that bad, but it won't look as good as it seems in the pictures. Pick up
a better season

“a big park and that's it”
Reviewed December 25, 2012

Not a bad place to go to when the weather's fine and you want to have a bit of rest or eat something. Not much to see apart from trees, though. Nicer to go to Meiji Jingu or Shinjuku Gyoen which are in the neighbourhood.

“Beautiful and serene”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

Nice and quiet just next to the hustle and bustle of Takeshita dori shopping street. The leaves of trees with their red/orange/yellow hues make great photos. Every shot is so beautiful. Nice walk in late morning without feeling the heat as there are lots of trees with shade. Very interesting souvenir shop in the park with lots of nice and affordable souvenirs not found in other parts of Tokyo. Lots of scenic spots for photos along the way.
