First Soba experience and I’m hooked. I write this for fear of letting the cat out of the bag, but it appears I’m not the first one here. ;-)
We got hot soba, tempura set. The starters were fantastic and the soba and broth were great. Authentic atmosphere on the forth floor. This is a stylish traditional restaurant with great food!
We’re coming back.

This restaurant located on the 4th floor of a commercial building has great home made soba, hot and cold. The other main dish is the roasted duck. The view of the trees and the traditional decor makes it a very relaxed and nice restaurant.

Authentic Japanese soba place which is difficult to find as it’s on the 4th floor of some nameless building. We were taken there by a friend.
You sit on the chairs to queue up. We went early so the queue want too long. It’s full of only Japanese people.
You need to take off your shoes and the whole place looks so clean and tidy
There’s cold and hot soba and excellent tempura. For 2800 yen you can have a great tempura and soba set.
And there’s a nice choice of sake in small, medium and large shots

The food here is ridiculous if you like cold noodles and know what you are ordering! We had some tempura of shrimp, squid, and vegetables that were done perfectly and the dashimaki tamago with grated radish and a dash of soy sauce was exceptional. Reasonable too!

It's easy to miss this restaurant. It's on the fourth floor of a building near Nike on the main harajuku shopping street. The sign board is in Japanese so it's easy to miss. But if you happen to be in the area, please do not miss this amazing soba noodles place. We had the tempura soba and roasted duck soba, along with the shiitake mushrooms hot dish. The soba was lip smackingly tasty! The best I've had till date. We ordered the half portions which were still massive. We ordered the organic tofu for the baby and he loved it. Overall, a reasonably priced meal for some hand crafted and tasty soba noodles.
