Excellent breakfast buffet with excellent setup & very friendly staff who brighten your day for a good start. One young male waiter always greets customers & send off with a delighted smile every time. I have to give credit to hotel installed four elevator with only 14 floors, minimum to non waiting time for elevator. Wireless access available in second floor lounge is very considerate for customers when computers were all engaged by customers. 24 hours MacDonald is just 1 minute walk from hotel which help solve the sleepless nights cause by Jet-lag. Front desk always have minimum 3 staff standby for enquirers & check in/out. No complaint room service & cleanness. No signs of broken equipment and toiletries setup consider the age of the hotel. Minor carpet stains which is acceptable. Good sound isolate setup to make room quietness.

Room Tip: Non-smoking room on 14th floor recommended for non-smokers

Priced well (if bought on agoda.com and staying longer, they grant you discounts!), excellent location (Shinjuku train station South exit, go down the hill towards the First Kitchen restaurant/fast food and make a left at the traffic light - hotel will be a couple of blocks down the street on the right), and the best amenities (they give you shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in giant bottles that are refillable, so none of those tiny little bottles that can be hard to squeeze!) There is free wi-fi in the guest lobby, there is also a guest lounge where you can use computers and print out that map or instruction to wherever it is that you have to go, and if you dont want to leave the comfort of your room, they provide you with a LAN cord to plug into your machines (no free wifi in rooms, unfortunately). The size of the room is definitely small, so I highly recommend NOT bringing your largest suitcase or luggage since there is no room to put them - my sister and I placed our two medium sized rolling luggage under the desk. There was no street noise to be heard from our room, the AC/heater was not loud, everything was very comfortable and very cozy.

This hotel was a true gem - if I ever come back to Tokyo again, I will definitely book myself another room here! Also highly recommended - sign up for their special membership card (the fee was waived for us since there was a 'promotion', but who knows if it's one of those promotions that last forever) - you can check out at 1pm...... otherwise, you need to be out by 11am!

Room Tip: The twin bed rooms are supposedly slightly bigger than the queen bed rooms (not sure by how much...

We arrived at Haneida early in the morning and took train and subway to Shinjuku. Hotel minutes walk away. We paid for the night prior to arrival so we could check in early in the morning and sleep for a few hours. We had two rooms - twin beds to start with and then moved to a double - both relatively small so you had to be organised and tidy but perfectly clean and comfortable. Great shower. Free wifi in reception and guest lounge. Breakfast was included in our rate and good choice both western and Japanese. Staff all extremely polite and helpful - we found the customer service in Japan was very high standard from everyone we met. Location superb just minutes away from variety of train lines, shopping, bars, yakitori alley, restaurants, etc. Highly recommended for a short stay.

When got to Tokyo we caught the Limobus from Narita Airport to Shinjuku Station, it's very easy and takes about an hour and a half. I was a bit worried we wouldn't be able to find the hotel but you can actually see it in front of you when you get off the bus. Even if you can't work out where it is ask the driver who will point you in the right direction. It's just a couple of minutes walk so isn't too traumatic even with suitcases. There are buses that will drop you outside the hotel but not so many of them.

Be warned they will not let you check in here before 2pm, so if you get to Tokyo early morning you will just have to sit and wait. In fact they won't even check to see if there are any rooms ready, it's their rule and they really do stick to it. It's a bit frustrating after a long flight but if you ask they'll give you a key to the guest lounge where you can relax for as long as you want.

Apart from this minor set back this hotel is superb, the location is absolutely amazing, right in the centre of it all. If you turn right out of the hotel there is a metro station next door, there are only two lines from here otherwise the main Shinjuku Station is just a couple of minutes away in the other direction. We found buying tickets a bit confusing at first because different companies own different lines, and even if you buy a day ticket that includes all of them you may well still end up paying extra on privately owned lines. We got the reception staff to explain the difference to us. Otherwise if you just want a ticket for a single journey ask how much you have to pay at one of the information kiosks, they're generally very happy to help.

All staff are very friendly, helpful and speak very good English. Our room was an economy double which wasn't quite as tiny as we were expecting, it was actually quite cosy. There is free wifi available in the lobby and the guest lounge but you won't get it anywhere else in the hotel. If you're on a long trip and need to wash any clothes there's a small launderette in the basement through the car park. It has three washing machines and three dryers so you might end up waiting for a while for others to finish but we found it very useful.

All we needed was within a couple of minutes walk, there's a convenience store across the road, a post office virtually next to it, various bars and restaurants... but If you fancy something a bit more familiar there's always MacDonalds (ironically the only place they couldn't speak ANY English). Other than that we had everything on our doorstep. Lovely hotel, lovely people in an amazing city.

Tip: If you go left out of the hotel there is a basement Korean restaurant called Yaniniku Kei which we loved, you cook your own food which was delicious and great fun. The Japanese restaurant upstairs is also very good.

This hotel is located on a quiet street really close to the Shinjuku station. The receptionists spoke good English and were friendly and the atmosphere in the hotel was good. Our room was really small - which is normal in Japan- , and the bed was only 120cm wide. There were not a lot of space for luggage and it was impossible for us (two women) trying to get ready in the morning not to bump into each other all the time. The room had a window, but you could not see outside because the window was blurred. We had to open the window to check out the weather. We also noticed, that the rooms on the other side of the aisle (probably the more expensive ones) had normal windows and were a bit bigger. Overall the room was well equipped and we had a nice stay!

Just stayed here for six nights and have to say this place is a great. The rooms as people have said are smaller than what you are probably used to however they are neatly turned out with everything provided and the size is irrelevant as you spend most of your time out an about in any case. The staff in all areas especially in the bar upstairs are 1st class and as in the case with most Japanese are extremely obliging. The location could not be better in terms of transport, food etc. highly recommend this place. What a great city.
