“Snow capped mt fuji”
Reviewed March 12, 2014

Just getting set to leave here. Great room huge with a view of Mount Fuji if it's clear , which it has been. All amenities here , haven't used gym and dont mind paying for wifi as many dont't use these things. I haven't eaten here just had a quick cup of tea and some fruit from the local shops and then headed out. Minutes away from the bustle of shibuya and the station and lots of little bars and restaurants behind the hotel. Ideal for me .

Room Tip: I got a Fuji room which only works if it's clear , maybe shibuya view better.

Stayed there for two nights. Gym was charged extra 2,100 ¥ even though poorly equipped and dirty. Breakfast was included but not available on day of departure in the restaurant, the executive floor restaurant opens late so I had to leave w/o bf. Staff was kind (as always in 5* hotels) but very inflexible. Location is good but there are many hotels in Shibuya. Will never stay here again.

Stayed here on a 5 day trip to Tokyo...first trip. Staff were great...polite and helpful. Room was great, comfortable and wasn't stuffy as so many air conned rooms can be.

The top floor bar has great views over the city and Mt Fuji. The hotel is a couple of minutes stroll from the very busy shopping/tourist area of shibuya and around the hotel there are hundreds of small eateries???although you'd walk past many not realising they are there.

I'd definitely come back and use this hotel.

Great location - 15-min walk from Shibuya metro station (may be 7 minuet without luggage and snow). Shibuya itself is a hip area, closes to the coolest things to do and to see + couple stops away from other famous neighborhoods.

Tip: Shibuya is a big station. look out for Tokyu mall, there is a footbridege on the left. That's your way to go. Airport limo has a stop here as well, therefore, you can save hassle finding your way around. (we took taxi from hotel to HND, JPY8,000 if you have no time wasted for limo bus).

Spacious room - We got a corner room which seems like a suite - separate living room and writing desk areas, king bed and closet. Spacious bathroom

Breathtaking view - simply we got a view from both living room and bathroom. You can absolutely enjoy glass of wine over a bubble bath.

Breakfast - standard also outstanding quality of food. Not a lot choices comparing some big hotels but seriously, fresh squeezed OJ and bakery, eggs, cereals, fruits ... good & health enough to start the day.

Hotel rooms start from 19th floor, your view won't be disturbed anyway. and i really like the hotel non-busy feeling, everyone was so chilled & relax (but serving you)

Room Tip: If your trip purpose is honeymoon and ready to proposal, yes, this corner room and high floor will b...

I stayed here with a friend in February and really enjoyed it. Though it was a little pricey, the room was far larger and grander than most in Tokyo. In fact, our bathroom was about the size of a normal Tokyo room!

The location is great, it's about 3 minutes walk to shibuya station and the famous pedestrian scramble.

The buffet breakfast was about 3,000 jpy and worth every cent.

Checkout and the bus transfer to the airport were quick and easy.

The only downside was that the wifi was not free, though it was cheap at about 1,200 jpy per day, for the price you are paying to stay here you would think it would be included.

All in all, I would recommend this place if you can afford it.

Amazing rooms with a view across Tokyo to die for.
Outstanding staff who passed the postage test( try posting a large box of goodies home from any hotel - only the best can handle it well from overseas )
Fantastic location in the heart of the action of Shibuya.
My only complaint is that the pool is adult only

As has been previously said in previous reviews the Cerulean is a great hotel. The location, quality of the rooms, views from the higher floors, bars, restaurants and general levels of service are all very good indeed.

However, four stars rather than five because, for the not insubstantial money paid, I would absolutely expect free WiFi and free use of the gym and pool. It frankly seems petty to charge for either and I suspect most people would visit in the expectation that they would have both without incurring any additional cost. It rankles to feel that you are being squeezed for every last Yen and sours an otherwise great hotel experience.

I should put in a good word for the concierge service. Very helpful and friendly. Although, once again, be aware of some additional costs for some of their services.
