“Wonderful situation and views”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

If you are looking for amazing views over the bright lights of Shibuya then I think Cerulean Tower would be hard to beat. I stayed in a wonderful large deluxe twin with city views, one of the most bizarre experiences I had was lying in the enormous bath looking out of the bathroom window over the lights of Tokyo. Amazing views taking in Roppongi, Shibuya crossing, and Shinuku. Close to Shibuya station and the bars and shops of Shibuya.

Room Tip: The corner suites are amazing and well worth any extra cost.

I stayed for 4 nights. Highly recommendable. Nice staff. Very professional. It's worth doing the upgrade for the executive floor and have breakfast or a drink at the 35th floor. Very quiet. It's close to everything but apart from all the noise that you won't like to have at night. As the city is extremely safe the is no problem walking the streets at any hour.
With the upgrade you will be able to check out even from there and in case you have a late flight (my case) you will be able to leave the luggage there and even take a shower before leaving.

Room Tip: Try to upgrade for the executive floor as I mentioned before.

I stay at the Cerulean Tower whenever I visit our Japan office. I find the hotel has excellent service, great views, nice restaurants and excellent work out facilities (great pool and spa). The bar at the top is an excellent place for a night cap, but does get smoky. If you're into cigars, that's great, if not you might want to find your views elsewhere.

If you want to get an insightview into Japanese lifestyle - and a glimpse into the future - there is no other place than Shibuya. And to immerse, stay there in the nicest hotel, which is the Cerulean Tower Hotel, a five star accomodation on the edge of Westen - Japanese style hotel.
The best are the views. If you are lucky, you can see Mount Fuji. But in fact, all directions are are interesting and extraordinary.
Rooms are a nice size, depending on the price you are willing to pay. Staff is f´very friendly and accoodating. Breakfast buffet is a very good deal. But you can also walk to Starbucks across the famous Shibuya crossing in front of Shibuya station and to satisfy your coffee addiction.
There is a lovely swimming pool in the hotel as well as a good gym and a typical Japanese hot o-furo (bath) in the changing room.
We have been staying at the Cerulean a number of times, and we were never disappointed.

We were upgraded, that s always a good start! Very nice and professional staff.
The look of the rooms is a bit old fashioned to me however I did appreciate the perfect quietness and comfort of the room. tokyo is exhausting and it very nice to have a place were you can really rest. . We had a view on the city, there is a wide baywindow in the bathroom
Shibuya is a good location to explore Tokyo.

My wife and I had the privilege of staying at this hotel during a weekend visit to Tokyo to meet my mother-in-law who was on business at the time from the USA. This was my 2nd visit to Japan but my first time spending time in Tokyo. The hotel is located in the Shibuya district about 5 minutes walk/ 3 minute taxi ride. Shibuya is a lively and trendy part of town with plenty of shopping, eating, and entertainment.
Everything about this hotel was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly upon check in and handed us a hand-written note from my mother-in-law who had arrived a few hours earlier than we did telling us when and where to meet. We stayed in a king room on the 32nd floor with an amazing view of the city. The room was perfect in every aspect. Clean comfy sheets, two types of pillows, and soft mattress, nice TV, WiFi worked perfectly, mini-bar stocked with a nice variety of drinks. The bathroom was immaculate and was quite big considering the room size. Separate shower and bathtub, huge vanity and sink space, and of course the wonderful Toto Washlet heated toilet.
We ate at the breakfast buffet twice, which was very nice. Decent, but not excessive variety of food. Mainly western-style. We really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice made to order. For dinner we asked the concierge for suggestions and directions to nearby places and were very happy with their suggestions. Our favorite was a casual Japanese restaurant about 5 minutes walk, which featured yakitori, sushi and full service bar.
The pool and fitness center were superb as well. Pool and huge hot tub have large windows with views of the city. Sauna and showers were super clean and always had everything perfectly organized and ready for use. I used these facilities twice and both times I was the only person in the pool, which was very relaxing.
Overall, this was an amazing stay at this hotel in Tokyo. I have zero complaints about this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury business hotel in Shibuya. I hope I can be lucky enough to stay here next time I am in Tokyo.

My first time in downtown Tokyo. I took the excellent bus service from Narita and was checked in early with minimum fuss. I had been warned that Tokyo hotel rooms are tiny, not here. Everything in the room was just fine with a great view of the city. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. My only small tick was the breakfast service being guided to the table next to the screaming kid throwing itself on the floor, when the place was almost empty, was a bit strange. May be they expected a rush. It was quickly sorted though. You could stay here all day every day with so many different things to see and do. Venturing out into the evening city turmoil was an adventure, one I hope to repeat very soon.

Room Tip: Have a drink in the bar at the top - great views
