Some buddies I brought to Tokyo tried some of the Japanese donuts they had at this Krispy Kreme. You know, green tea flavored donuts and sakura-themed donuts (we were there during sakura season). They hated the donuts. They hated them because they weren't deep-fried and double dipped in sugar glaze. They wanted donuts from 'Murica! I, on the other hand, enjoyed them because I prefer the not-so-sweet pastries of Japan.
