It's true that you almost walk by it but otherwise it's easy to find and everyone seems to know where it is...
You walk up to the old man, who actually DOES speak English, place your order, wait in line and wait.. it took us on a busy Sunday 15 minutes to be seated.. by the time you are seated the food is there and start the enjoyment...
We ordered one Ramen Spicy and one with Garlic.. they were both delicious... I loved the egg and the spices..
Waiting staff is nice and efficient..
All together it was a 15 minute ordeal but it was well worth it.. total: around 1900 yens.. not bad @ all..

We had just finished visiting Meiji Shrine and were looking for a Ramen shop when we saw this place. It looked a bit touristy so we walked past it, at first. After walking around, I finally consulted the Trip Advisor City Guide and found that this place had great reviews.

Wow! They met all my expectations and then some! Seven different soup bases to Choose from! Our group tried three different ones (including the extra spicy-Yum). All were exceptional. For Ramen, it was rather pricy, but there was great atmosphere, service and delicious food. What more could you want!

My favourite ramen shop. The ramen that I need to have every time I visit Tokyo. I wouldn't say it is the best as there are many good ramen places in Japan but it is very tasty.

So many ramen places in Tokyo, but why this particular place? One, the soup in the original version is extremely tasty with very rich stock, especially with the accompanying pork meat. Second, the fragrant egg is so delicious with bright red yolk and truly perfect half boiled. Third, the noodle is just the right size, not too thick like in other places. We tried ramen in ramen city, in the fast food chain, in food court, and also similar establishments, this is definitely one of the most expensive ramen in Tokyo, but it is superior in taste as well so we will be back if we are in town again.

The soup stock is soooooooo cholesterol laden, artery choking and heart stopping good. The noodles were chewy and bouncy, the crew is fun, the gyoza was good!!! We always have to make a pilgrimage there whenever we visit Tokyo...
