“Great Value Italian”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

We love this little italian restaurant and have used it as our local hang out for several years now. Food is fantastic, and it is a true bargain compared to other Italian restaurants in Tokyo. Portions are decent size and the taste is absolutely fabulous. Our favorite dishes are the arabiata pasta, the grilled fish with salad, and the chocolate cake for desert. The home made bread is also a great treat.

Love it, love it, love it.

“Favorite casual Italian in Tokyo...”
Reviewed January 22, 2012

The restaurant just celebrated being in business for 15 years for good reason-excellent cooking in a casual, cozy setting. The menu is arranged by appetizer, pasta, and main courses. Usually I order either the 2 or 3 course menu and you can pick 2 or 3 things off the menu...if you want 2 pastas that is fine or 2 main courses.... I recommend the fish of the day with fresh mixed vegetable salad. The menu is in Japanese and Italian and the owner speaks some English so visitors can do OK there. This is the kind of neighborhood restaurant that after you go a few times you can just tell the chef "omakase" and he'll prepare a meal based on what he knows you like. Wine is a bargain if you go for better bottles of wine. I usually ask the chef for wine recommendations and it usually is something not on the menu that is excellent. My only warning is that if the restaurant is fully packed then service can be slower since there are just 2 people working at the restaurant.
