“People do not understand”
Reviewed August 15, 2014

People who do not understand the conviviality atmosphere of this place should not enter.
This place is a GEM in maruyamacho (Shibuya), if you are looking for such a boring place with normal food avoid it.
This is a place for locals, foreigner could not understand well the concept.

“Overrated”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

Not sure why this restaurant was so highly rated on TA. Went there based on the review and were super disappointed. Food was iffy at best, atmosphere awful, service left us desiring more. Definitely do not recommend.

“Not sure why this is high rated!”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

Based on the reviews on Tripadvisor, we visited this restaurant as a quick dinner after a long flight to Tokyo. The food selection was limited. The service was poor. Other than the plate of sushimi, the food was below par. Would not recommend.

“Hidden gem!!”
Reviewed July 26, 2014 via mobile

Wow, what an amazing restaurant! Innovative food based on extremely fresh ingredients. The Kobe beef "sushi" was amazing! As was the swordfish, the blue cheese risotto with scallops. The service is extremely friendly, and they speak great English. Booking recommended.

“popular”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Very popular place. Lots of foreign tourists. Don't expect to just walk-in for dinner. You'll need a reservation. Portion size is quite large so be careful when ordering. Staff tends to try to oversell a bit. Fish is top quality and delicious. Lost a star for essentially rushing us out the door when we were done with our meal even though we spent over 200000 yen and the fact that their website menu is out of date, prices are higher. There is a non-smoking side (completely removed from the smoking side) for those sensitive to smoke.
