We went to Asahi Zushi as we were staying in the Westin Tokyo hotel and it was basically 2 minutes from the hotel at the 38th floor of Ebisu garden. The view was just amazing. Sadly, that is the only decent thing i can say about this place. We wanted to sit on the bar, it was 21:00 and they told us the bar is closed for seating(?!) so we got a table. We ordered a tray of 24 pieces of Nigiri for 3950 Yen(yes.cheap. but very nasty) and hot saki(735 yen). The sushi came after like 2 minutes. The fish was clearly the lowest quality I've seen in Japan. Seen better looking fish in the 7 eleven. Way better. The rice was undercooked and soggy(dunno how they managed to achieve these 2 qualities together, but they did). The sushi basically looked like it was standing there for ages(over a couple of days). The total bill came to 5198(they added the service to it). We were shocked by this place!
