I really wish we hadn't spent one of our limited evenings in Tokyo at this restaurant. It wasn't bad by any means, but you can do much better elsewhere (if you are a serious foodie, splurge and go to Les Creations de Narisawa). The setting is lovely (though a little over the top) and the food is good (though not fantastic). The real issue was with the service - it was chaotic and confused - a lot of people walking around without direction as we waited for attention. Our head waiter spoke neither English nor French, only Japanese. It was extremely frustrating not to be able to communicate. We had to keep looking at the menu to see what we were eating (it was written in French on the menu).
Joel needs to get on a plane to Tokyo and get this place up to par. As of now, it is not at all worth the money or your time.
