This hotel is in a good location with a number of restaurants and cafes adjacent to it along with a metro station. This was my first stay in Japan so I may be judging room size and facilties harshly - but the bedroom was small. However it was the tiny amount of hanging space and total lack of drawer or shelf space which I found unacceptable - and I have never seen bath towels so inadequate in size or number for a hotel of the quality Villa Fontaine purports to be.
The only food service is breakfast which is unvaried and of poor quality and variety.

Good business hotel. Comfortable rooms, conveniently located for the business district.

Breakfast served a good mix of continental and Asian options.

Overall, excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

the other reviews I read are spot on - for the price, it's great. three of us stayed in one room (pretty tight), but we enjoyed a decent breakfast each morning. It's not the best (mixed vegetables and hot dog chunks some mornings), but there was cereal, yogurt, miso soup, toast, and boiled eggs.

the biggest downer for us was location. Althought not bad at all, we were more interested in partying and our type of partying is in Shinjuku.

Otherwise, great place. Easy to get to and the place was clean and friendly.

the location is ok. The price is good. Otherwise, nothing special in this hotel.
The internet is free but so slow that you regret they do not charge it so that you would ask a refund.
The breakfast is on the poor quality side.
Otherwise, it is ok. The room is small and they had put a "massage chair" in it that reduced considerably the space available. It was was really a bad idea.

Good - near metro Roppongi-itchome staion, nice room & clean, slightly bigger than business inns, provide breakfast, near airport bus station.
The not so good for a leisure trip: requested for a non smoking room but was assigned to a cigarette smelling floor, however room is smell free. Also in winter, room heating is not adjustable, it's a little cold - upon request the receptionist apologically ask us to turn the temp to highest, which didnt help much. And the breakfast session is a little congested like the Tsujiki market. Selection is limited. There is metro but probably not the convenient interchange stop where one can transfer easily. Out of major shopping area except maybe Roppongi hills.
Propably good for a business traveller on budget and leisure visitor who wants value for money.. There are probably better place to stay next time.
