“A wonderful stay in a great location”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

I had the pleasure of staying here with my parents from 27th February - 8th March 2014.

The staff were really friendly and when you give them a chance they go the extra mile to find out all information in English.

The rooms are very Asia city style. The bathrooms have everything you need so if you do forget your toothbrush, you're sorted.

The downside was the pillows are hard and towels are small. I loved the complimentary Kimono PJ's to wear.

The location is great. It's a 20 minute walk to Shimbashi station and only $7 AUD for a cab. The trains in Tokyo are fantastic and cheap.

I can't wait to return here one day soon.

Room Tip: Stay in the original block as it's more traditional and the beds are large.

We stayed here for 4 nights with kids, and found it a very nice on the whole. Rooms were cozy and very clean. I would certainly recommend it for any traveler coming to Tokyo for business or with family.
Nice Location - We found it to have a convenient access to several subway (options) systems (5 to 10 minutes walk). There are plenty of eateries all around. The hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet.
Staff was friendly, and English was spoken at the reception desk, never had an issue about that.

The location of the place is not perfect but not bad either. It is a minimum 7 minutes walk from any subway or JR station, but there are many options including shimbashi which has excellent connections including the JR Rapid to Narita.

The Hotel has a new wing and an old wing. Rooms apparently differ heavily regarding size, so it is wise to check what you get. I got one of the bigger twin rooms in the new wing which was pretty spacious even for European standards. The hotel website has an excellent English page that explains the different kinds of accommodation on offer. However the list on that page might be hard to map to the offers you find on agoda etc., as these sites use different terms, especially if it comes to translations. For me it worked out very well, there was more then enough space for our portable cot as well a lot of luggage.

Staff is really friendly and helpful, this is especially true for the team working in the restaurant where an affordable yet very good and diverse Japanese breakfast is served for 9 Euro.

Would highly recommend this place for these reasons!

We stayed in a double room, the deluxe room, and it was fantastic. The staff, from the front desk right through to the cleaning staff, were massively friendly and helpful. It was only about a mile walk from Shimbashi station but it was glorious weather for the two weeks we stayed there, so it was nice to be out soaking up every day Tokyo.

The room was well equipped for what we needed it for. As a place just to sleep it was great, I'd definitely go back there again :D

We stayed in a 3 bed room for just under a week in January. It was a comfortable stay which is clearly made for their business travellers. It is a bit of a walk to the station, however you have a selection of metro lines to choose from. CVS everywhere, however being located in a business district means you will likely have to use the subway for sightseeing.

The hotel itself was good, with english speaking staff and prompt room servicing.

Room Tip: Be sure to check the A/C. Heating was an issue

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with the Overseas Adventure Group tour. The hotel location was ok since we were on a tour. The staff was helpful and some spoke English. We learned that some rooms are really small and some are ok. We got lucky and got a room that accommodated us and our suitcases nicely. We were there the first part of November and were able to open the window so the heater/air conditioner was not an issue. Since the window as open the noise did come through however.

Basic rooms but clean and slightly more spacious than the average business hotel. It is situated almost equidistant from several metro stations so it can be a bit of a headache to figure out which it is best to go to. On the other hand you can get to a great variety of places.

Two doors down is a small wine shop that also sells craft beer. A nice change to the usual Asahi/Suntory selection.

On our last day there was a small earthquake (6 on the Richter scale). As we were on the 11th floor there was quite a lot of swaying but the hotel stood up to it fine. One of us was using the shower at the time and the water carried on flowing regardless.
